Yellow top - recycle
Light green top - garden waste only
-
Air Conditioning
For your comfort and energy efficiency, please follow these air conditioning guidelines. The air conditioning wall control is located near the entrance to the kitchen.
Set the desired temperature using the provided wall control.
In summer, please do not set the temperature lower than 23°C (75°F) to conserve energy and prevent excessive cooling. If the system is on a lower temp it could overload and cease working.
Close doors and windows when the air conditioning is in use to maintain the desired temperature effectively.
Turn off the air conditioning when leaving the room or the property to save energy.
-
Stove Top
The stove is an induction cooktop. The pan must be on the element for it to heat up.
For instructions of how to work the stove top please see the manual:

Security
We strongly advise that when you are out and when you retire at night, the property is locked securely, including locking the windows. No responsibility can be taken for guests’ personal property that is left on the premises. Please do not leave the property unlocked when you are not there. If you are going out for a longer period of time kindly ensure the windows are closed. Due to our tropical weather, sudden storms can occur at any time with heavy rain and winds.
-
Smoking
In accordance with State legislation and the terms and conditions of your stay, smoking is not permitted within the property and is not allowed on balconies as per the Body Corporate bi-laws.
-
Ants and Other bugs
Sunshine Coast is a tropical paradise surrounded by sand dunes and rainforests. We share our beautiful environment with our wildlife which includes ants and other bugs. Whilst our properties are professional pest sprayed, this does not stop insects from entering via open doors and windows. If you are concerned with insects, we suggest using flyscreens where available or keep doors and windows closed. It is also helpful to ensure food is cleaned up and bins are tied properly and disposed of regularly.
-
Wildlife
Sunshine Coast is where we call home and we are so fortunate to share it with our amazing wildlife. If you do encounter a snake in or close to the property please contact Luke on 0499 920 290 and let us know. If you supply him with a photo he can identify the reptile and assist as needed.
